It's the end of the century! and with it comes the end of the golden age of the City that Hangs from the Hills. A channel that expedites travel between more important cities has been built, and the old hanging port is no longer necessary. The end of this stream of income has been quite sudden, and both the working men and the wealthy are struggling to adapt. What does economic recession bring? well, social unrest and good art, of course!

A story based on the killing of Valparaiso by the Panama channel, and also the end of the saltpeter industry. Vagely inspired by steampunk, inmensely inspired by tango and music in general. Story centers on a music band that plays at the seedy bar/whore house "Los 7 espejos". Intention is to explore the relationship between social classes in a dying city, as well as the life of musicians that never "make it big".
